Allen Wheatcroft lives in Andersonville on Chicago’s Northside and spends several months in Sweden every year. After publishing Body Language (Damiani 2020) — a book of street photos from cities in Europe and the US — he turned his attention to exploring more deeply the built environment where he lives and spends his time. One result of these explorations will be publication in April 2024 of companion books on Chicago and Sweden — The Northside and Björkevägen (Birch Road).
